Chairman's Message Letter

from the chairman . . .

Welcome to the Williamson County Republican Party Website

Williamson County is a unique county in Tennessee and indeed is a leader in the whole nation. Republican candidates received 73% of the vote in the 2004 Presidential election and an amazing 80% of registered voters participated.

At both the state and county level, all elected offices are held by Republicans or Independents. That makes the May 2, 2006 Primary the most important election of the county officials who most affect your daily life. We encourage and welcome your participation in that election and also encourage you to join the party to help make Williamson County the kind of place we all want it to be.

We are a broad based open party supporting the overall principles of the National Republican Party.

The WCRP maintains an office in downtown Franklin, open Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Please stop in and introduce yourself. Jean Barwick, our executive director, will greet you warmly and introduce you to the many opportunities to participate in local Republican activities. The unified spirit of hundreds of volunteers and dedicated community leaders has propelled the Williamson County Republican Party to statewide and national recognition. We invite you to become part of this remarkable movement.

The Williamson County Republican Party hosts four major events each year - The Presidents' Day Dinner, Just Desserts, the Summer Picnic and the Veterans' Breakfast. We publish a quarterly newsletter to our membership and it's also available on this website.

Thank you again for your interest in the Williamson County Republican Party. We look forward to your full participation in this very special place to live.
