2016 Candidate Information

The first link under each district listed below will share candidate questionnaire responses on some of the important issues that our State Representatives and Williamson County School Board members will be dealing with if elected.

All candidates were given the opportunity to submit their responses to the issue questionnaire.  Responses from the candidtes were not alterted.  They were simply formatted to be included in this public posting.

Public voting records are included in the second link because we believe that you will be more informed about the candidates when knowing how they have previously participated in elections.  All the voting records* are public records from state and local election commissions.
*We will continue to update voting records as we receive them.

WCRP Chairman, Julie Hannah stated, "In an effort to better inform our community of voters, the endorsement of four school board candidates definitely needed to be done so that loyal voting Republicans know which candidate to support.  The Williamson County Republican Party is committed to electing qualified Republicans to all levels of government and to positively and responsibly communicate the Republican message.

"The significance of the WCSB budget alone supports enough reason for Republicans wanting a fiscal conservative representing them on the school board and advocating for low taxes, reduced government spending and minimal government debt.  The 2017 WCSB budget makes up almost 75% of Williamson County tax dollars, and the Williamson County Commission recently voted to increase our property taxes by about 19%, explained Chairman Hannah.

She further supported the Party's decision, "Plus, each of our endorsed candidates is a professional and compassionate citizen with leadership, business, community, and parenting experiences that will positively contribute to the continued success of our public schools and the complexities of our community and school growth challenges,
